AMB-L
ENERPAT

![]() | ENERPAT Heavy-Duty Scrap Metal Baler The ENERPAT AMB-L Series is a versatile hydraulic scrap metal baler, also called a hydraulic metal baler machine or metal scrap compactor. Where the hopper-fed AMB-H is built for continuous feeding of light material, the ferrous baler AMB-L's lid design makes it the better choice for bulky, high-hardness, and mixed-composition scrap: coiled steel, rebar, appliance casings, car shells, paint drums, and aluminum profiles. Main cylinder press force runs from 100 to 1,500 tons and motor power from 30 to 300 kW, built on Schneider electricals and ENERPAT's own hydraulic cylinders and control system. The lid covers the top of the compression chamber, so loading stays straightforward even with irregular scrap, and blades along the chamber and platen edges shear long material cleanly during the press stroke. This baler for scrap metal is widely used by recyclers, steel mills, non-ferrous smelters, and electronics, appliance, and aluminum profile manufacturers. |
Operating Principle
Material Feeding:
Materials are transported to the metal baler's compression chamber using forklifts and unloading devices.
Hydraulic Compression:
Under the drive of the hydraulic system, waste metal is compressed into compact metal bundles.
Automatic Bundle Ejection:
The metal bundles are automatically pushed out through a small door using a hydraulic cylinder.
Product Specification Sheet
The AMB-L range spans 100-1,500 tons of press force and 30-300 kW motor power across different standard configurations (see spec table below), with compression chambers from 1200×700×600 mm up to 2500×2000×1200 mm.
Match your typical scrap piece size to the chamber dimensions first. Oversized material that won't sit flat in a smaller chamber is the most common reason to step up a size. Contact us to send us your monthly volume and material mix, and we'll confirm the right model with a free material test before you order.
